what do i put instead of "dirname" and instead of "_file_" ?

I am so sorry, but i am a newbie when it comes to linux and php. I am used to use ASP and Microtofs!

hm.... how can i say this ?... what do I put instead of 'dirname' and '_file_' ?

you see, i am kind of newbie in php development. I used to develop in asp and work with IIS, but i found that php has much more potential... thanks for the help.

I'm not sure why you want to replace that, however it is also equivalent to:

oh.... i thought that dirname and file were variables that i had to replace.....kind of "xyz"..sorry....so I have to put exactly how it is stated in your reply, right?
