Post 8yr Old Linux Kernel Bug - A Potential for Disaster

Potentially if you do not apply the recently released patch here git.kernel.org - linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git/commit

Security researchers does not warrant immediate action however the level of risks involved should make you think twice. A large percentage of business critical Linux machines today are exposed to the bug.
